While brainstorming this project for a small local bank they were inspired by the conversations around them, which included community gardens and recycling programs. They decided they would spin the idea of “community” into an event for the local bank. With the use of press coverage they expected to improve the bank’s public image, thereby increasing their customer base. “Neighbors for 95 years” was the campaign’s title. It included a community clean up day, a block party, and financial education program for local youth.
The idea was a hit and that was the inception of Coffeehouse Creative. The social environment of the coffeehouse was a catalyst for the cause marketing aspect of their business. Ideas found their way onto coffee napkins, lids and even the “specials” chalkboard. Today they still brainstorm at the local coffee shop. They still generate ideas on napkins (every now and then) and they still brew fresh ideas to help you give a little back to the people that make success possible, your customers.
